    Living on Kioa Island, Fiji, Kariana is the Training Manager for OraSoil. Trained as a teacher, Kariana is responsible for supporting farmers, entrepreneurs and women’s groups to understand how adding value to coconut husks can improve their household incomes and support community development.

    With a passion for empowering women and young people, Kariana ensures the training programme meets local needs and introduces innovation for transformative change.

    Led by Dr Subodha Charles, Alta Vision is our engineering partner based in Sri Lanka.

    Subodha Charles is a faculty member at the Department of Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering, University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka.

    Subodha co-founded the company in Sri Lanka, operating in the energy sector in 2013, and it is currently one of the country's market leaders. The company has invested and expanded into other areas such as construction, software, digital marketing and healthcare and is now operating as a group of companies.
